The Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks took center stage on Media Day at a hockey rink, the first time this circus-like event is held outside the host city or site of the Super Bowl.

Thousands of reporters gathered to meet players and ask questions while fans will watched it unfold from the stands at the home of the NHL's New Jersey Devils, who happened to play on a baseball diamond just a couple days ago.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Golden Tate wore both a GoPro camera and Google Glass for his interview session.

“Really I thought it would be a great idea to try to film my experience through my eyes, literally through my eyes, for the 12’s(Seattle fans)," Tate said.  "They’ve supported us all year and we appreciate it so much. I figured this would be a small way for me to give back and for the people that aren’t able to make it out, they can see this. I’m looking forward to editing it out and moving forward with it.”

Among the most coveted interviews was with Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning.

Manning coasted through the circus that is Media Day, opining on his family's favorite beer, politely evading silly questions about reality TV - and avoiding any wild pronouncements.

The word "legacy" popped up repeatedly as the 37-year-old Manning, a four-time NFL MVP who broke records by throwing for 55 touchdowns and 5,477 yards this season, sat through his hour-long session Tuesday.

Earlier in the day, the CEO of The Prudential Center was asked about the media blitz in Newark.

“It’s going to be a pretty special day. First of all, you have the two Super Bowl teams here in all of their glory; you have an incredible building and you have 3,000 media members from over 200 countries. It’s going to be an incredible day and a fun one," said Scott O'Neill, CEO, The Prudential Center.

The NFL transformed The Prudential Center for the special event including adding astro-turf.

“It looks spectacular… It almost looks like a mini- space ship,” said O’Neill while  the NFL Jets and Giants drum line performed outside the Prudential Center early Tuesday morning.

Robert De Niro says Tribeca Film Festival is his passion

Robert De Niro is a family man, a filmmaker, an entrepreneur and one of my favorite actors of all time. He's also a co-founder of the Tribeca Film Festival, which has more to see than ever before. De Niro wears just as many hats on screen as he does in real life. The father of six starred in six films last year, owns four restaurants and a hotel, and still finds time each spring for the Tribeca Film Festival, Lower Manhattan's annual cinematic showcase.
