Mommy, What Did You Do At Work Today?

Posted: Updated:

Every day my kids ask me "Mommy what did you do at work today?" And every day I am reminded what a fun and interesting job I have! So in case you weren't able to watch "Good Day LA" today, here's a little catch you up on some of the cool stuff I did at work.

I've been a fan of Peter Gallagher for so many years! The first time I remember seeing his work was on the movie "Sex, Lies, and Videotape".  Since then he's continued to flow effortlessly it seems from the big screen to television to Broadway.

Today he stopped by to talked about his one man show "How'd All You People Get In My Room".  Peter shares his real-life stories from his early days as a young actor in New York to working with legends such as Jack Lemmon, Tom Stoppard, Mike Nichols, Robert Altman and Peter O'Toole. He did a great O'Toole for us on the show.  Along the way he's managed to stay married to the same woman for more than 30 years and has two children that he's clearly proud of, one in the music industry the other a director.

You can catch his show Feb 13-15 at the Segerstrom Center in Orange County.

Joining us as a guest host today the lovely and talent Natalie Zea, we all have a crush on her here as she seems like everyone's best pal.  She has a show that will be debuting on Amazon Instant Video soon it's called "The Rebels" she plays a woman who suddenly inherits a football team after her husband dies and she's completely not equipped to do so. Of course many of us at the station loved her last year on "The Following".

Natalie and I got the chance to go inside Nurse Jamie's Wellness Bubble…yep we did all the girl in a bubble jokes.  But it was really cool, pure oxygen is pumped in this giant tent like bubble and it's supposed to help the skin combat free radicals and form collagen and elastin in the skin.  Jamie showed us how doing her signature beauty treatments are improved with the added kick of oxygen.  I also got a b-12 shot which hopefully will help me ward off the cold my twins brought home from school! Check her out at the Beauty Park Medical Spa, 1511 Montana Ave, Santa Monica, CA 90403, or call (310) 587-3502.

And finally Chef Dean Sheremet taught us how to make an easy and elegant meal for Valentines Day...Scallops dusted with chocolate...believe I was skeptical at first and I had scallops but they were actually really good.  And this time no one ending up bleeding on air (you know what I am talking about if you watched our Thanksgiving Day cooking segment!!) That's it, it was indeed a Good Day on Good Day LA!

It's no secret that Microsoft has struggled in the hardware department so I can't say whether the Surface Pro 3 will be the hero Microsoft needs but I can say it is the modern computing experience users deserve. I love it and think you should too! Read on to find out why.
