NOBLEBORO, Maine (MyFoxBoston.com) – A fugitive was arrested in Nobleboro, Maine Friday after a three day search that spanned three states.

Jeffrey Glover, 46, was arrested during a felony traffic stop around 1 p.m. Friday. New Bedford police worked with US Marshals to find and arrest Glover after a warrant was issued on Jan. 29 charging him with rape of a child with force.

An initial investigation revealed that Glover had fled Massachusetts and traveled to New York City. Several attempts were made by US Marshals and New York City officers between Feb. 5 and Feb. 7, but Glover was able to avoid the attempts, officials say.

Police discovered that Glover was with a new girlfriend, who was from Nobleboro, Maine and eventually located Glover there with the description of his vehicle. He was arrested without incident and will be processed as a fugitive from justice.
