Cycle for Survival kids event to raise money for 'rare cancer' research

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) - Six year old, Ethan Sandlofer, his dad Jason and five of Ethan’s friends stopped by Good Day to talk about Ethan’s event happening this Saturday.

Ethan has already raised more than $57,000 toward research on rare forms of cancer. 

He lost his mom to a rare form of cancer, angiosarcoma, when he was two years old.

Cycle for survival has raised $41 million since 2007. 

All proceeds are going to the Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Center for rare cancer research.

Ethan's event is strictly for kids.  Here is some more information on the event.

Cost: whatever you want to donate to fundraising page

Any child age five to 14 and at least 48 inches tall from any school.
