Posted: Updated:

DURHAM, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – The University of New Hampshire Police Department issued a warning on Wednesday for students about a reported incident that took place in a ladies bathroom.

UNH police got a call from a student just before noon Wednesday about seeing someone she believed to be a man in a woman's restroom. She was not able to confirm that the suspect was a man, but was certain they were white. The suspect was reportedly standing outside of a shower holding a cell phone over a stool that had been put in the stall next to the one she was using.

The suspect is described to be a white man wearing a black long-sleeved shirt or sweatshirt and was using a white iPhone with a "minion" sticker on the back of the phone.

Residents of dorms are reminded to allow the building doors to close properly when coming and going. Campus police and service officers will be increasing their patrols as a result of the incident.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call UNH police department at (603) 862-1427.
