BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Four people, including three juveniles, are accused of breaking into a Boston home and taking a television.
Boston police were called to Maywood Street just after 1 p.m. Friday on reports of a breaking and entering. The caller said he saw four suspects lurking around a house before they disappeared. They said the suspects emerged from a side door of the home, threw a television over a fence, and fled the scene.
While heading to the scene, they received a description of four suspects. They observed two people jump over the fence of a nearby home and run through back yards on Maywood Street. A short time later, an officer stopped a male wearing the same clothing described to police. He appeared winded and out-of-breath. A second suspect seen running on Gaston Street was then stopped, followed by two others on Blue Hill Avenue.
Police say all four males were positively identified as the suspects. They also claim evidence was collected that links them to the crime scene.
James Patton, 21, of Dorchester, and three unidentified juveniles were arrested and charged with breaking and entering in a dwelling in the daytime.
The stolen television was recovered from a nearby yard.
