HAVERHILL, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Police have found the man who they say robbed a bank in Haverhill Sunday morning.
Louis Colon, 47, was arrested and charged with unarmed robbery in connection to a robbery at the TD Bank on Merrimack Street.
Police said a white man between the ages of 40 and 50 years old entered the bank just before noon Sunday. He did not show a weapon, but passed a note to a bank teller and fled on foot away from Washington Square with an undisclosed amount of money.
Haverhill police say they caught the alleged bank robber after he parked his car behind the city's police station. Officials say surveillance footage provided by the bank and the city caught the make, model and partial plate number of the suspected getaway car. That information led them to Colon.
