BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A St. Patty's Day parade on the Cape, local Special Olympics and more are on tap this weekend.
Here's what's up for family fun, get those babies ready! It's time for the Diaper Derby at Simon Malls. This Saturday let your kids crawl their way to first place. It begins at 10 a.m. Saturday at the South Shore Plaza Mall.
What's up to watch? The Cape celebrates St. Patrick's Day early with a parade in Yarmouth. It starts at 11 a.m. at Long Pond Drive and Route 28 and travels west from there.
Large crowds are expected. Operation Safe Ride home is in effect all weekend long from Friday to Sunday. You can call Town Taxi out there for a free and safe ride home.

What's up for wellness? For a limited time only the Special Olympics Winter games come to the greater Worcester area. Close to 2,000 athletes will compete at various venues in skiing, basketball, bowling and floor hockey, beginning Saturday and running through Sunday.

And finally here's what's good: The Hera Women's Cancer Foundation, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to stop the loss of women from Ovarian Cancer by promoting health, empowerment, research, and awareness, is hosting the Climb4LifeSM event in Boston this weekend.
On Saturday, March 8, from 4 to 10 p.m., participants can try the Metrorock ropes course, take part in the treadwall climbing competition and silent auction, and try some of Harpoon Brewery's finest beers.
