FOXs Mike Mibach has more from San Francisco.

The mission district's Dolores Park has views, families, character, but it's not exactly perfect.

A couple toilets and a stack of stinky Port-A-Potties will soon they'll be on their way out

On its way in is the Pissoir.

"It's essentially a screen with some plants on it and an area drain," said Jake Gilchrist of San Francisco Parks & Recreation

The high end open urinal is part of the park's $12.5 million renovation that starts next week.

"There's a big issue right now with people urinating on the muni tracks," GILCHRIST said.

The Pissoir will come to life at the corner of the park on 20th and Church St.

The stand and go facility is not quite hitting home for some.

"I don't feel comfortable with that especially with adults and children you never know predators out there," said resident Pedro Martins.

The reopening of Mission Dolores Park for is expected to happen spring 2015. The park reportedly sees 3,700 park users on a typical Sunday.
