Man wanted in Southfield Verizon store robbery

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) -- Police in Southfield are asking the public's help to identify a man who they say robbed a Verizon store last month.

The incident occurred on Feb. 27 at the store on the 23000 block of Greenfield Road. Police say the suspect asked for a screen protector, but then pulled out a handgun and ordered the an employee to the back office where the safe was located.

Police say he stole more than a dozen iPhones. The female employee was not injured.
