NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Four boys were shot in the legs in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn Friday evening, according to police.

One boy is 17, two are 14, and and one is 12. Medics took them to hospitals in serious condition, the NYPD said.

The shooting happened at about 7:30 p.m. on South First Street. The sidewalk was spattered with blood.

Police did not release any further details.
