Children Rescued From Flood Waters In Alabama

Two children and one adult were rescued by firefighters from a car stranded in the Alabama flood waters on Monday morning.

At least four inches of rain fell in the area over the weekend, which caused scattered flooding and power outages.

People all across the region are being evacuated due to dangerous conditions resulting from the flash floods.

The National Weather Service has issued flash flood and severe thunderstorm warnings around the state.
