Rally outside store where worker allegedly pulled AR-15 on customer

Posted: Updated:
DETROIT (WJBK) - Protestors held a rally outside a cell phone store in Detroit Friday, where an employee is accused of pulling a gun on a customer and using racial slurs during an argument.

James Morris says he went into the Metro PCS store to dispute a bill and got into a heated argument with a customer service representative, Auorahem Safar.

Morris claims Safar made numerous racial slurs towards him and his girlfriend. Morris also says Safar pulled out a gun -- a AR-15 rifle to be exact -- and told him he had three seconds before his head would be blown off.

Morris recorded the incident on his cell phone.

A police report has been filed and police say an arrest warrant has been issued for Safar.

Police executed a search warrant at the business earlier this week and took evidence into custody, including an AR-15 rifle.

The business was closed on Friday while the rally took place and the doors were chained shut.
