Man steals jewelry off school worker inside Worcester elementary school

WORCESTER, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Police are looking for the suspect wanted in connection with an unarmed robbery at a Worcester elementary school Wednesday.

At about 11:25 a.m., Worcester police were called to the City View Elementary School on Prospect Street for the report of an unarmed robbery. When officers arrived, they met with a victim who is employed at the school. She said that a man entered the office to ask about enrolling his child. He was given paperwork and then allegedly proceeded to lunge at the woman and grabbed her necklaces, officials say. He then fled from the school on a yellow bicycle.

The suspect is described as a thin, white man with dark brown hair. He is about 5 feet, 7 inches tall and may be in his 20’s. He was wearing a white t-shirt and cargo shorts.
