SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) - On Thursday morning Police in Southfield respond to call made by WJBK security after a 51-year-old woman drove her Lexus through a gated security area and continued to the station's back parking lot.

Inside the Fox 2 building an overhead page alerted the staff that the building was on lock down.  The woman got out of her vehicle and pounded on a door at one of the locked entrances.

A few staff members encountered her near the parking lot. Apparently she had a story to tell.

Photographer Jim Kelel: "She was ranting and raving and said the FBI had been following her, basically had been chasing her since downtown Detroit."
Photographer Greg Tatchio: "I heard her yell briefly she knew something about the VA hospital scandal, that she was a whistle blower and needed to talk to Huel Perkins."
Kelel: "or Charlie LeDuff."

Southfield Police quickly arrived on the scene and the woman was back inside her vehicle.  They attempted to box her in.  She drove through a coned-off area of the parking lot and eluded the police on her way to exiting the property.

Police followed her to the area of Greenfield and I-696 where they successfully stopped her vehicle.  She was placed under arrest on felony charges of malicious destruction of private property and fleeing and eluding police.
