BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A man angry over missing the last train ended up making such a scene that police showed up, learning that he was a Level 3 sex offenders with multiple warrants out for his arrest.
Transit police say that on Wednesday morning at around 1:30 a.m., officers were called to the Oak Grove MBTA station in Malden, where a man was reportedly so angry that he had missed the last train, that he was threatening an employee and refusing to leave the station.
Jeffrey Harrell, 54, of Dorchester, was allegedly verbally attacking an MBTA employee, banging on the window of the booth the employee was sitting in, and would not leave the station.
When police arrived, officers learned that Harrell was a Level 3 sex offender with multiple warrants out for his arrest.
Harrell was wanted in Boston Municipal Court for shoplifting. Roxbury District Court had issued two warrants for defrauding an innkeeper and destruction of property. In South Boston District Court he was wanted on a warrant for open and gross lewdness, and in Dorchester District Court for failure to register as a sex offender.
Transit police arrested him at the station and brought him to headquarters.
