BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- FOX 25's Political Reporter Sharman Sacchetti asked Senator Elizabeth Warren about the ongoing situation at Market Basket Tuesday.
The Mass. senator was critical of the company, but did not protest with the workers and customers. Some have expressed concern that she wasn't present at any of the rallies held over the last few weeks.
"Right now, I think that the employees have made very clear their position. That's not the issue. The issue is that we have got a management that is perfectly willing to destroy value, they are perfectly willing to turn people's lives upside down and until that changes the Market Basket situation is not going to be improved," she said.
She said she hadn't reached out to any of the parties involved because Governor Deval Patrick and Governor Maggie Hassan stepped in, and she wishes them good luck.
