NEW YORK (AP) - A vandal has splashed a red substance on a wall inside New York City's Whitney Museum of American Art.

The man splashed the substance on a wall on Wednesday.

The museum said the man was quickly apprehended by security. He was taken to a hospital for evaluation.

The museum's third floor was temporarily closed but reopened within two hours.

The gallery currently houses a Jeff Koons retrospective. No art was damaged.

Some weird or wonderful (and sometimes both) moments of New York Fashion Week...
